Castrol GTX 20-50 in the summer.. When I feel rich Mobil 1, now I feel jipped for using it..... Royal Purple looks dirty to me I have never tried.. Greddy has oil I tried there 20-50 and it is green...Dont think I gained 20 whp for 7 bucks a quart...
Mobil 1 5w-30 and always have used in all my previous cars. I also heard it was a synthetic blend and thought about switching to Castrol my next oil change though.

lol....are you really sure it was the oil that sludged up and not your perfectly tuned motor that has been taken care of and never missed a oil or gone over a oil change ??? oil just doesnt sludge up...something has to have been in conjunction with it, coolant maybe ??

i think its just the oil, cause ive seen other people talk about how it sludged the motor when it was removed to get work on and all they used was RP
buttttttttttt i have see noe one time put 1 qt of RB oil at orielly, meaning either it was burning oil and he had to top it off or something cause when i do oil changes i dont need to come back and put more oil :smokin:

the difference is the left number means cold temp W=weather, with that being said 0W30 can be used in any weather from sub cold temps to very hot. Its not realy neccesary but since it doesnt get too cold here in houston but i just do it to be safe . Its suppose to help you out on a cold crank.

I thought the W=weight :suspect:

well the second number is the weight i always thought the w stood for weather . either way the first number is for the temp and the second for the weight of the oil
