I originally tried to get it on myself but me and my brother decided it was too much work
we spent like 3 and a half hours just disassembling and we werent even fully done with that so im just gonna take it somewhere.
When i went to fastlane they actually referred me to secret services.
Has anyone dealt with them before?
any issues or anything?
The downpipe on the MS3 is a pain in the ass to install. It took a buddy and me 10 hours. I'm not aware of any local shops that work on Mazda's. I'd be interested if there are any myself. I'd like to get a custom tune.

Send him to a mustang shop?
Secret srevices did a couple of things for a buddies car of mine and came out good. They tuned my old civic and it ran fine till the day I sold it. Guys are pretty cool. Also inline racing they are cool to. Also look up attitude racing. The guy named Randy does badass work and is cheaper than anyone else. He is honest and always takes car of his customers. Not sure if any of these shops do mazdas but worth a shot. I have heard bad stuff from turbochargers.com. I have only purchased from them and it went smooth. Never had any services done from them and probably never will.

I need to find someone that knows how to tune with the COBB AP. Maybe MDR would know since they specialize in Evo's. Thanks for all the feedback

You know if Secret Service has any experience with COBB tuning?
I know they tuned some sti's before. If the sti uses that cobb tuning, I dont know. But if a tuner has the software in front of them and has been tuning for awhile I am sure they can tune it. I think I met that guy and mdr. He sounded like he knew what he was talking about but never been there. When finding a tuner I go by experience and reputation. Not worth my motor to take a chance. Chris at secret services tuned my old honda and I never had a problem with it. Also had huy at inline tune some and he did a awesome job to. Your going to have to call them and ask though. I have huys number if you want it pm me or give secret services a call.

Hey guys,
I'm David with MDR Performance. We specialize in mazdaspeed and evos, and work on ANY other cars as well, foreign or domestic.
To the guy that got my card (on my phone, too much work to quote :) ), yes we can tune the AP, I'm still aquiring all my skills on it, so I would wait a bit and let me get it down 100%. We have been using and tuning the standback since its release ;), so I'm familiar with it the most.
We can definately help you with the install on the downpipe. Feel free to contact us when you want to setup an appointment and bring it in.
I have 3 years of experience with the mazda3/speed3. I can provide quite a few work refrences from past jobs. We can do anything and everything on the cars :). My last car was a white 07 mazda3 sedan with a custom gt28r turbo kit I built ;).
Feel free to call anytime:

Awesome, thanks. I wished I would have heard of you guys befroe I took 10 hours to install my downpipe. Good to know for the future though. Once you get some experience tuning with the AP, I'd be interested in getting a custom tune.
Sure thing CL8ON. Im getting back on the Ap tuning project here in about a week and a half or so. We have a few big projects to finish up, a built motor and a mazda3 6 speed speed3 tranny swap, then its back to the AP learning curve :). What mods do you have now?

I can vouch for MDR knowing the MS3, That 10hr DP install took David less than 2 hrs on my car including letting it cool down.

Yeah, talk to David (forum name MDR) cuz he's been working with mazda 3's since day one. He's done like 10+ downpipes installs in the area--including mine and TxSandman.
