In order to view Racing/Kill Stories, a user must now have 10posts or more..
I did this incase a :cop: signs up and starts lurking @.. you never know :secret:
plus someone signed up as "abc123"...That just doesn't sound right :worried:
10posts let's us see who the person is...
If you see a suspicious user, then PM Datboi_ls3, Boofthese or me and we'll take care of it :naughty:

Edit: i was thinking of doing it like some other websites.. where the User has to know someone signed in (referral), then the user may view the whole forum..what do yall think about that?

Sounds like a plan. Is there a cap to that though to where someone like me for instance that really is pretty new here but has x amount of posts will no longer need the referral?

i always tell people to mention me when they sign up . I think its a good idea but if the federales are smart enough they will just pick some random screen name from here and say they were reffered by them . Seems to have a loophole

yeah but then i ask the person who gave the referral if yall know each other..not approve it right away because the name is there

I would say a min of atleast 50 post or so, that way there in here for good, cause 10 is WAY to easy to do. and even if they have a referral still make them have to do atleast 50posts

Well here is the loop hole fix.
Who ever was used as a referrer will be asked if the person who joined is really a friend or not. You must enter your full name and how you know the person your using as a refference.
IE: I have been to meets and know "MigdetSwindin" from the meets I have a black corvette with leprechaun stickers on the hood. Then verify it with "MidgetSwindin" to see if he knows this person or not if he doesn't PERAMA-BLOCK the mofo save the IP and done.

Just for what it's worth, ya gotta have 50 posts under your belt to post in the classifieds section on LS1Tech. Guess they were trying to cut down on the fraudulent transactions and people getting taken advantage of....

Yeah, I think it's probably a good idea. It was a pain in the butt though, since I was right in the middle of doing my build and I couldn't reply to classifieds for sale or post up some of my take-offs to sell. I respect the premise though. Lotta money xferred through there....gotta try to keep it legit. :)
I think they shoud have atleast 1000 post to watch racing vids lol. But I'm just saying
