CV joints

Hey guy's well i know this isn't one of the most exciting "projects" but it has to be done my buddy has a 98 (i think) Toyota camry and we're replacing the cv joints and we get the the thing to come out of the trans. do you guys have any tips to getting it out we have limited space and have already tried 3 diffrent pry bars

just good ol pair of pry bars man. sometimes the little lock washer, i guess is what you would call it, can be a pain in the azz. try looking in through the other side of the trans to see if you can see where that little lock is sitting. sometimes also banging it out through the other side helps too.
