Test pipe or High flow cat on my Evo IX Mr?

I am thinking of replacing the stock cat in my car with a test pipe but then ive read that a high flow cat would be better ? What do you guys think.Discuss

yeah ive been readin up on there and im thinking of going with a test pipe that has a mini cat inside so it wont throw a cel code on me but its going to smell like booty!! heres the link :

Hollowed out cat equals test pipe..Get a piece of steel that you can hammer..And have fun with a hammer...Or go to a muffler shop and get a flex pipe..Dont know if that beast you drive got em already..They should... but for turbo...3 inch w a flex...From a strait dump..I gained 20..A Cat is an American way of getting fucked by tree hugging leftists plotting on making all American cars turds..:)

TurboTurd here :moon: has a point.. it can be ran that way and get max boost gain without lag and have around 15-20 extra hp.. but it will also mess with your code.. ive had a couple friends do it with flex and nothing happend but i have a couple that's done it and codes stay on from no cats and sensors read wrong.. take your chances.. id go with the test if thats how you want it.. no codes or do what turd here said. :washwax:

Dayum that sucks bro. I have a down pipe on the evo and with a HKS full exhaust but at the moment just running with the pipe. i will be taking it off and running with DP and 3inch all the way back LOL
