So i took my car out to stretch my legs out a llittle and when i went to get on it, it went but after a while threw a check engine light. So after parking it i jump it at the kick pannel to check the codes but it just stays solid as if there is no code. Ive also already tried disconnecting the battery but it sill wont go away. And the car wont let me pass 4k and it feels as if the plugs are foul or some sort of fuel cut. Any ideas......

What ecu are you using? Could be a bad ecu. Or maybe you might be jumping it wrong. Is this your si?

In hondas you can connect 2 ports together with like a paper clip or wire. The cel will blink and you translate how many blinks and thats the code. Like code 23. But it blinks slow 2 times and fast 3 times. Thats how you know its 23. If its a single digit number it will blink say 7 times slow ands you know its code 7. Only in obd1 hondas. obd2 is different I think.

To the op if your tuned its probably a p28. If any of your buddies have a ecu you can use try that first. Also make sure all the wires in your jumper harness are still connected.

Yeah its a p28 chipped from phearable on my si. All the wires to the jumper harness are connected. Changed the plugs cause the othres went foul and still nothing. Sounds a little better but the light is still on, i still cant pass 4k, and still not throwing any codes....

Lol I have owned and built some hondas. I had a built turbo si before the dsm. Just got tired of hondas.

So last night early morning i had my key turned forward with my motor off when i heard like a whining noise. THe noise is soming from my iac valve behind the tb. So gonna clean it off later adn see what happens.... But i still think i need another ecu..

Yeah that damn knock sensor. I remember when I did a jdm h22 swap in my 92 lude. That cel sucked. Yeah get another chipped p 28 and put your chip in that one. That way you will have your same map. Gl

what "chip" did they use. your chip could have simply went bad. take it somewhere and see if the chip is still good or if the whole ecu is bad.

good luck!

Ecu is good, the chip had went bad, had poor contact for being soldered. So i need to either order another chip or get it tuned. The chip that was in there was from phearable.net
