Question on LS swaps??

well i have a Z71 06 silverado and am a real noob about swapping LS motors i was wondering if its possible to put a LS3 into a 06 Z71 yet still have 4 wheel drive and manual transmission??

not sure but the z71 comes automatic and want to convert it to a standard witha n ls3 in it but not sure all what i have to buy to make this work just for an off road vechicle

a tranny from a z71 that had an old vortec motor in it will bolt up to the ls motor

i think you also need to buy wiring for it like the crank sensor shit cus its different and for the throttle body too. your better of buying my friends 408 motor its complete already with everything you need just bolt it in lol

i still got the 408 man it would be a dirrect swap you wouldnt need anything for it i would recomend headers for it though and the motor is complete comes with alternator and all accesories

if u want to put a ls3 on ur truck u need to order a lingerfelter wiring kit for the crank nock sensors and the cam nock sensors and its a deal that comes for a 24 tooth crank to a 58 tooth crank and that wright there is 600 dollars and then u got to order a dr.x pigtail for ur throttle body if ur going from a 3 bolt to a 4 bolt throttle body that is $240 thats the only thing i can think about wright now the motor my brother gots for sale comes with evrything intake,brakets,injectors the only thing u will need is a pig tail but i can get one for like 150 and the motor only gots like 3000 miles the compression is at 11.2 with l92 heads it will make ur z71 burn out the 4 tires
