Eligibilty requirements/Rules for ShiFtSlow COTM
To be eligible to compete in the Car of the Month, you must meet the following requirements:
Vehicle must still be owned by the member (example: Can't be your buddy's car or a car you just sold).
Other Eligibilty Regulations
You can only win one Ride of the month a year (the year consists of January 2009-December 2009. So if you win December 2009 you can win again in January 2010.
If you lose your T-Top you are not eligible to run. Or if they just happen to fly off on the freeway..
Ride of the month process
A nominations thread will be opened on the first of every month.
Any member can nominate an eligible member's vehicle. (you may NOT nominate yourself) Nominate by saying "I nominate username". Once that member gets another nomination (Example: X2 on "Username" they will be put into the Poll)
A maximum of two nominations can be made by one member, if voting has not started by the 6th day, members who have made two nominations may make another to get things going.*
Once nominated, the nominee must accept or decline.
Once 5 nominees accept, the nominations will be closed and the voting will begin. No late entrants.
A couple of pictures from the "Member's Ride" section will be used in the voting thread.
Participants may send a PM to Frankie, DatBoi_LS3, Boofthese, or Whitey05 with the picture you want in the voting thread if you wish.
Voting will stay open until 11:59pm (US central time) on the last day of the month.
Once the voting is over, the winner will write up a quick bio of his vehicle including all modifications, vehicle history, etc., and a picture and send it via PM to Frankie.
In the event of a tie
In the eventuality that a tie occurs in the voting, the tie will be broken based on a 3-day-long tie-breaker vote held in the COTM section.
