i run a 26-11.5-15 et street dot approved mickey thomson right now
i got 4.10s n tha rear n im red lineing @ tha 1/4 mile finish line!!!
im fixin 2 run a 275 60 15 mickey thomson et street drag radial now which ='s 2 a 28-11.5-15 im still on motor so far. now heres tha question yall think its gona slow me down or speed up or run tha same time runnin a tire thats 2 inches taller?? holla:banana:

i think et streets are a shitty tire.. much prefer either a full slick or the mt drag radial... moving to a dragradial, but adding two inches will probly end up being a wash mph wise unless you really have enough power to justify a 28inch tire... might help 60ft a bit with the extra roll out and with it being a better tire i say you will probly et better though.

intalled tires 2day they rub as i expected when i accerlerate. post up a pic n a bit. see if i can adust it out 2marrow. car feels good though

use a heat gun, and a rubber mallet if you can.. it will come out alot better than an actual hammer, and no heat...

best time was a 12.52 but crawlin out tha whole!!!!

The taller tire should gain you a mph or so. The thing about them is launching...try 4500-5000 and slipping the clutch. If it were a soft wall tire just pop the clutch. also try the tire pressure between 14-16psi and get a good burnout.

yea i tryied tha whole slippin tha cluthc out @ 6 grand n i started 2 cum around but shes got more! when i had my 26 inch tall tires it would 60 ft low 1.7's n everynow n then hit lika 1.69 but rarly!! n hit a 12.40's consistantly!
n tha set up n tha bak is granatili lowers wit steada uppers n eibach drag springs n motor is 310 ci wit afr heads n a moderate cam n its carbed!!

You got subframea? What kind of clutch do u have? 6k is too high. You need to junk the uppers If they are not adjustable. Get adj uppers and set pinion angle and launch 5k and hold on! 1.60s easy!!

did you give it a good break in period? Kevlar clutches need it.

Set the pinion angle to -3 or -4 at most. If you got good shocks/struts you might just might see day light under the front left tire :)

i banged a tremec 3550 in my old 306 setup. I beat that thing like a hooker on prom night LOL it held and never fked up....the king cobra hd clutch when it came out was pitiful tho! I guess thats what happens with 450ft of tq on a sticky tire cutting 1.50s!

i think dru ran a similar shot when he was going bottom 11s...something like 1.5 60s or so...

so i dont see why it wouldnt work well on your car too.. the ability to run some pretty fancy plate kits is a big plus to having a carb car too.
